Recently (2021) I bought a 100 ML from Nordstrom just to have it in my collection before it is wiped out of the market. Very well blended. So far while wearing Uomo Intense for the first time, I have received 3 compliments however, I did have to overspray to the max because the longevity is really poor with this one. 9.4/10. If anyone has info on where to find find early batches, or experiences with the new batches, I'd appreciate it. But I enjoy the VUI a little bit better! If I have an iris craving, the dior is definitely what I will be reaching for. far too sweet, similar nauseating sweetness that makes armani code profumo almost unbearable. I like it. When i first received this blind buy, it was 80 degrees out and it was all bad for me. It's versatile, unisex, warm and comforting. I adore it, but DHI simply does not perform on my skin. Im my country it's hard to get ur hands on but it's very beautiful although dior homme intense is still better so my advice is go with the later it's longer lasting. I think you can rock this fall to early spring (cool days only). one of my favorites, amazing iris opening. A masculine yet sweet, and potent yet smooth, unique yet mass appealing. It doesn't smell the same. I have the original version of this before it was bought out. Scent wise better in my opinion also. Love this DNA. They are just perhaps in the same genre of fragrances with some notes in common. If youre expecting a high quality and/or well composed fall/winter iris-based fragrance similar to DHI/DHP. The Iris is just too much for me. To me, a more masculine rendition of DHI. Do any of you even know what lipstick smells like or are the whiners just regurgitating lines they heard Gent Scents or Jeremy say? Damn this is straight fire, iris and Tonka is the star here, I see what all the hype is about, very strong sillage in the opening, sweet and manly dont get the unisex vibe, 8 hrs longevity good projection within first 2 hrs then sits close but still detectable, cool summer nights fall winter and spring, white tee or suit dont matter, 9/10. If I smelled this on my wife or any women for that matter, my t-levels would shoot through the roof, no pun intended. You should probably buy a bottle now if loreal didn't reformulate it yet . It's very sweet, there is a sickly note in here it was too much to bear. I get powder and oranges primarily from this. They 2 are nothing alike. First time seeing this in a store in 2 years aaaand yeah I'm a bit disappointed. You still get that lipstick quality from the iris, but it's balanced well with the dark leather and mandarin notes. I still see this listed on Valentino's US website, so I don't know where the hype about discontinuation comes from. To me this is the smell of a beautiful, classy and intelligent WOMAN. I have been stopped more times wearing this than anything else. but thats another topic for another day. Unmistakable Valentino, only better blended to leave an extremely refined aromatic woody-leathery scent. I was able to score a 3.4 for under $80 recently, and I am really glad I was able to. The tonka bean and vanilla are the sweetening notes, noticeable but not as strong as the leather, they contribute with their sweetness and a bit of a gourmand delectable touch. 62S80YX. But to be honest, it doesnt perform so good. Never disappoints. Perhaps it's this association that keeps me from viewing it as a scent to be worn on someone as a fragrance. L'Oreal sure butchered this one. It smells similar to the original Valentino Uomo, so it has the same DNA but in this Version the leather is dominant. If you spray it more it will stick around. If I have to describe how the orgasm 'smells' like, I would say just like Valentino Uomo Intense, Such a classy Suit Office "You can't sit with us" scent. Valentino Uomo Intense is a great fragrance without a doubt, especially in the dry down. Was hard to find for a while. Very unique and, for me, the better value buy compared to the Dior. I can see this making the all time top 30 list of evening, night, date and casual mens fragrances as a classic, for designer scents. It's that good! I sprayed twice; once on each arm to test it. The leather is the most prominent note, aromatic, bold, dark, but not animalic or offensive, but with that combustible or gasoline vibe found in fragrances that feature strong leathery accords, yet, it comes across as refined and elegant. If this would've been a Dior, most likeley woul be in the Private collection sold for 200+. The initial opening is not rude or loud but very milky-acceptable and the dry down is even more lazy, slow yet amazing. Well, Valention Uomo Intense is a fragrance that I bought after already owning Dior Homme Intense. HmI blind bought this one but I actually didn't like it at all. Also on my skin projection the first 4 hours is enormous. A bit underwhelmed with this to be honest. Fantastic fragrance, little bit expensive for 50ml bottle but it is high quality scent that last for very long time with good projection,,,Just for fresh days of autumn,,. I get the Iris very strongfully from the start with a citrusy note; also I feel strongly the leather and the scent it gets sweeter with time but not a lot, honestly I get more of the leather than vanilla or tonka bean.It feels very classy, sophisticated and heavy, that makes it not too versatile but very good to be elegant. It's impeccable! It's warm, it's rich, it has that iris but there's something fresh about it too off the top. But dont worry Valentino uomo intense and dior homme parfum are not discontinued. The orange seems to mainly be in the background on me. Scent evolution changes greatly. Valentino Donna Born In Roma Coral Fantasy, Valentino Donna Born In Roma Yellow Dream, Valentino Uomo Born In Roma Coral Fantasy, Vetiver Gris: New Fragrance by Jacques Fath, Goldfield & Banks Goes Deep with Silky Woods, Opinion: We Dont Need to Worry So Much about Fragrance Reviewer Credibility, Creeds Love In White: Grain-Fed Magnolia, Tropical Vacations with Tommy Bahama Fragrances, First Fragrances: Dolce & Gabbana for Women (1992), Davidoff Cool Water Street Fighter Champion Summer Editions for 2021, WPC: Interview With Alexandre Illan, Perfumer of the Rammstein Line and More, Valentino Uomo Intense Cologne by Va (. The leather is noticeable a bit later on, in which it blends into a nice blend of iris, vanilla, and leather. Ive reviewed this before but wanted to add a thought. Really good fall/winter fragrance right here and for sure I do understand that similarity to the Dior Homme line but I wouldn't say they're exactly the same but rather it seems that it's inspired by the Dior Homme line. Best iris fragrance I've ever smelled. But i only just realised it today. This fragrance screams elegance. The clary sage contributes with a sweet, herbaceous, spicy, and leathery touch, the mandarin orange, is almost unnoticeable. I also have Zara 9.0 to compare. Prada LHomme is. and thats a fact. Its classy and sexy. I am actually surprised by the comparisons to Givenchy's Gentleman to be honest. I kept thinking what is that awesome smell? @claytonh42 I havent smelled any of the old batches but I have one from January 2021, the one with the black rectangle on the box, and it smells amazing. It's a pleasant powdery vanilla. Because of that is it hard to find out of europ. Semms like it is trying to be Dior homme parfum but it isn't bold enough to do so and hence it tries to play it safe by sticking to the smoothness of Dior homme intense. Am I the only one that gets STRONG cinnamon roll smell from this after 1-2 hours?? Sweet opening. This could definitely be a signature scent, something you wear to work or date nights. i smell it at drug store smells amazing but for colder days !! Valentino Uomo, truly a glorious masterpiece. now spray 2 spritzes of this magical scent and grab the keys for your Audi RS5 on your way out. Oh yeah, it smells wonderfulthis is my first impression: initially the iris is very similar to that of DHI. I'm kind of known for not enjoying vanilla in my scents guys but in here its perfect. It is quickly becoming my cold weather signature scent. A great price, great scent, this should do nicely in sales to replace the utterly stupid decision of Dior to discontinue it's Dior Homme Parfum. It smells so expensive and classy. It smells like you mixed DHI with DHP. Ladies around me love it even more and they all said the word "Classy" when they smelled it. It gives a slight masculine edge to the fragrance. While DHI is mostly linear, Valentino changes, and to me, that drydown is very sexy, women loves it! The performance is great, (7-8 hours) so its still worth buying. I can't even lie.. As much as I love the entire Dior Homme line, and Dior Homme Original EDT is and always will be my favourite scent in the history of mankind, Uomo Intense does it for me more than Dior Homme Intense does. VUI projection is average for an EDP. Reminds me of a more playful, sweet DHI. On paper strip I think the Puig one is heavier on the vanilla and leather, while in the first reformulation the citrus notes and the iris play along longer. The salesperson let me sample the newer formula and I purchased that old version (Puig) right away. I love iris themed smells, something about them are so attractive. Hi y'all. Cuz I like oranges to eat, but to smell like one is a different story. 7/10. It's like Dior Homme Intense but "darker", more mature. Valentino Uomo is conceived as a young Italian heir, whose timeless elegance comes from his legacy. DHI has more going on with it and is the one which i personally like more. The strange thing is that women really like it but I cant wear something that I dont like :/ . So they added nutmeg and juniper berry and took away the tonka bean and the leather. I own both, and theres no reason not to own both. I twice wore new batch from nordstrom and I didn't notice massive differences ( although I'm no expert on this fragrance) to my nose. To my nose I get warm powdery vanilla, the leather comes and goes, it's there but it's not very strong, and it's a dry leather, don't compare it to the fruit forward leather a la Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, this is a dry sun worn leather and it's very subtle, it's merely there to provide a slight backbone for the other notes to lay on. I finally have some mild appreciation for this. If fragrance is not your hobby and you're ended up here just because you're looking for great scents for you to wear, just get Zara 9.0, they're 96% similar, and you can get 3 - 4 bottles of Zara 9.0 for just a bottle of this for the same price at the same volume. But this is better than my beloved DHI. For those who love Dior Homme line, this is a winner. Beautiful combination of iris, leather, vanilla, and tonka. I never thought Id write a review but I was compelled to do so. @pbreslin (on how to differentiate Puig vs L'Oral): correct! Spend ur money on a Dior HI or Roi d'Orient. This is a statement maker for sure. I could imagine an adult 21-35 wearing this, really playful and party-like. ok first off I could do with the communities help. Soft elegant powdery iris vanilla great longevity. Review is for a a sample of the new retail bottle, with studs on the neck. Love it! They were puzzled as to why I was so drawn to that specific box. The smell of lipstick is too strong in this fragrance, I think I can't stand it up close, it's very intense. Uomo Intense has NOT been discontinued and I don't know why half of FragComm keeps insisting that it has been. Not a single bit of a thing! Even on a date I found it too much. But here in Europe the nederlands it is still in stores. . There is some pleasantness hiding in there now. Apart from the performance you mentioned, do you notice that it smells different? I really tried to like this one (it was a blind buy) but the lipstick smell put me off completely. I really wanted to like this one but I never could. VUOI smells so sophisticated, without it being too dark, it adds the orange on to the opening, before transforming you into the knight in shining armour. I picked the wrong one. within 4 hours it's gone, leaving me wanting more. I think the comparison is there, because the iris on DHI and VUI are similar. Performance is good and it will last you some time. The opening imho should be a little more citrusy but its still good. I am gonna surrender myself and substitute for this one! I have also Dior Homme Parfum, and I can easily say the Iris in both is very similar but overall they are different smelling fragrances. Have a great day! The sample that I got has a beautiful note (I guess it is mandarin) that made me like it more than DHI, but the new bottle that I bought smells almost the same as DHI. Be prepared, when you wear it, you will want to sniff yourself on occasion to get this scent well into your olfactory. i have tested this gem and DHI for several times and tell you my opinion. The new one has a dirty mechanic oil smell towards the end at the dry down compared to the pre-formulation which stays sweet and iris smelling. I own Uomo Intense and I have been testing out a sample of Gentleman and in my humble opinion, Gentleman is way sweeter! A shame that Valentino doesnt performs any better. Amazing, beautiful, spectacular words that describe Valentino Uomo Intense. Modern masculine scent for men. The iris in VUI is dialed down significantly compared to Dior Homme. Untrained nose? Season: fall and sometimes in winter too, early spring especially dull days. I also purchased a bottle of DHI from Fragrancenet too, but when it arrived I was so upset to see that they sent me a 2020 formulation of DHI while they still have the 2011 packaging pictured. The opening to dry down transition is relatively linear, the fragrance opens with a strong projection, bold and intense, but as it transitions, it softens to a moderate projection. ARMAF ODYSSEY (black packaging).same performance, long lasting, affordable price.check it reviews from youtube coz it is new release from armaf and it is not listed here in fragrantica yet. Its a better version of Dior Homme Intense for sure. i have the newest batch with spikes and today tested it, 3 sprays.. my friend couldn't detect this scent ..3 hours affter aplication he smelled it once, i think its very bad performance now, ill give it another try. Just great all around, The most complimented fragrance I own. My batch is from 2016, and is an incredible Powdery Leathery Vanilla. Its def insanely close to dior Homme intense. Discontinued fragrances arent still listed on the maker's website. Lasts very long and has good sillage. Still I feel like this DNA has been these days been used a lot in other fragrances so the uniqueness is not there, but that does not mean that it is not worth buying or having. I can definitely tell this fragrance will have some silage and longevity. VUI smells like Spicebomb/Extreme to me, with a mild infusion of iris/powdery notes, with more defined tobacco notes, and reduced array of spice notes, with a mild dose of resinous/dark notes. I just received my 1.7oz bottle of Valentino Uomo Intense in the mail. Reduces to a heavier version in 2 hours and loses silage at same ratio. Then it evolves into something extremely sweet that gives me a headache. Comparing this with Prada L'Homme Intense and Dior Homme Intense, this is the most wearable of the three. It's available on the Valentino website and elsewhere as of today. This smells good and also has the performance! A bit deeper than the original with a bit more iris, i feel this one is strictly winter wear and not as adaptable as vu, i love both but the opening on the original is sublime. The iris is very makeup like in the opening and you get a nice almost fizzy cherry scent- totally reminds me of Dr.Pepper even in the dry down. It's long lasting, projects well. When I smell this, I can tell that I'm smelling something very, very good. Surprised by the comments on performance on this one, I had the one by puig and I now have the l'oreal version and both smell identical in my opinion, the performance is beast mode, it nearly chokes me it's that strong, pulls compliments wherever I go, and out performs alot of niche fragrances I have, for the price of this it's defo worth having a bottle in your collection. VUI can usually be found for cheaper, and lasts longer at 8 hours on my skin, while DHI only gives me 5-6. That's the Fragrance Ingredients List code number on the last line of the ingredients. Please read the Terms of Service and Privacy policy. The opening is a tiny bit harsh, perhaps it's the sage in combination with the mandarin orange? Either way, a phenomenal sexy scent non less! I have Valentino Donna and I love how the two compliment one another and would be a great gift or purchase for a couple to wear together. Same as dior homme parfum. Many thanks. On skin, I don't notice much difference between the Puig version and the first reformulation (L'Oral). I'm impressed. Ive been searching for Dior Homme Intense to sample (I love iris) bit Ive had a hard time finding it. Prada L'homme smells better but way weaker in terms of strength. 1h projection and gone after 4 hours on me. It is not obnoxious, yet always there. But, and this isn't big deal, but I think they removed the cacao that I remember. If you can, rock this, you will not be disappointed! Why? I opened the box today and to my surprise the bottle looks different: there are studs on the neck of the atomizer. I don't know why people have urge to mindlessly keep repeating this false information! 10/10 masterpiece from Valentino. Having some fun doing an A/B with DHI. This is far sweeter than DHI which is more sophisticated than this. The best iris bomb in my opinion. I have heard this has been discontinued. Rumors say it is discontinued. The dry down is unexpectedly sweet but on a bad way, not pleasant for what I was expecting. And its not even close IMO. The dry down reminds me of a mix of CH Prive for Men and Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka. Its not a clone of any DH, it has a unique character. Im surprised others dont smell the strong orange note that I do. Leather, iris, vanilla, and then dries down to be soft and powdery, with that sweetness in the background. 10/10. Creamy iris and sweet cacao. I used it at a dinner event and I really enjoyed wearing it. One of the best perfume I ever had. Today was cold. It is in my opinion the best release of 2016. Oh my god this is the best cologne ive smelled i have 10 colognes i just started this year but damn this is gas. I got few compliments from wearing it even from a taxi driver. Dior Homme intense is nowhere near as versatile as this is. I absolutely love Iris fragrances as well. MI got a sample yesterday. No it is not discontinued. Valentino Uomo Intense has better smell to me personally. Anyway 2.5 years later, after hearing how "sexy" this fragrance was by YT reviewers(S/O to Buck of Big Beard Business for the VUI fragrance introduction), I Pulled the plug and searched for a full bottle. That one should only be used when you are in a tuxedo or suit and tie And even then I would still recommend the Valentino or Prada Intense more. Smells like a 90s supermodel's Chanel bag that's been thrown around for the better part of a decade, causing the high-end makeup inside to break, smearing hot red lipstick, babypowder and inky mascara everywhere. My favorite cologne of all time. The leather accord is consistently the featured note. :). Definitely perfect for spring and fall- could be cloying in summer however depending on where you live this could be a good signature fragrance. And as many have stated they are quite similar. Given you bought it recently. Just bought a 10ml sample and grabbing the largest bottle I can find immediately!! This is straight up female 25+ and it's sexy af. I also get slightly better performance out of DHI. Instead, I love the warmth of the tonka bean, mandarin orange and vanilla mixed with the dark leather to give a sweet and rich vibe. The opening is bold, masculine, mature, elegant, projecting, and very pleasant. Wish this came in a parfum version like the Dior Homme line got ;) this sits joint second with Dior Homme Eau and behind Parfum. The opening is my favourite part about this fragrance, I love how the powdery iris and sage blends with the leather and vanilla notes and gives it the perfect balance of elegant sweetness. Works really well in colder weather, wouldnt wear it in summer. Glad I only bought a sample. The heavier the sprays, the heavier the projection. The opening is very masculine, It has a very sharp Iris not like DH it shares the same sharpness of the Iris you'll get from Roi D'Orient from Rituals. But anyway try it! Closer to Givenchy Gentleman EDP than to Dior Homme Intense despite what "this perfume reminds me of" says above. VUI is no exception. I saw this at a local department store in the old packaging (Batch code 80891) and I actually hesitated on getting this. love it. I totally get the comparisons to DHI, however, I am not that familiar with DHI to compare the two side by side, so all I can say is that the similarities are definitely present. The cold masks that big time! VU is sublime, more delicate and delicious. Why?!! But damnit man, I need another original bottle. All in all, this is a stark departure from my usual likes, but I need to throw some variety into my collection. The projection is very good. Soon after the initial application the leather and iris fully develop, the iris creates a mild and projecting powdery accord. I loved Gentleman Givenchy EDP so really what did I expect with this one? The heat brought out this cloying lipstick feel. Very appropriate if you are dressed up whether be a date or a formal ocasion, even for work in cool days. The iris note its more quiet but noticible. Longevity is great, as of now on me it surpassed the 8 hours mark and still detectable. It dries down to a sweet vanilla leather, without becoming too animalic. One of the few fragrances which I immediately had to purchase after sampling it! Very different and unique. My first warm/sweet fragrance. it is perfect for a cool, luxurious and formal atmosphere. Looking at the notes I thought Id love this and dont get me wrong I do like it however it isnt a standout for me personally. This is what I've been looking for! Since this dissapeared for quite some time on european discounters and now seems to be back again, can somebody comment if a reformulation took place ? I wore DHI yesterday and this smells different. @jaexrobb are you done spamming the reviews pages? I am addicted to this fragrance!!! You should try it before blind buying. Dior Homme original is not the Iris king. Iris also takes a back seat, leather vanishes. I was already running low on the late 2019 batch I bought, and it was a great deal also. This has replaced Dior Homme Intense as my favourite scent for formal occassions. I like it. It does have that makeup bag lipstick smell but its blended so well; if you like iris youll be a sucker for this one. The rich Iris and leather scents come thru nicely. I visited Douglas yesterday and they had the new batches. I lost 50% of enjoyable smell in 2 hours. There's something fresh and maybe 5 min into it you get a big, chunky chocolate bar. Identical performance and scent as Puigs bottlings. I purchased a bottle of this a few years back as I really enjoyed its powdery, vanillic sweetness. After around 6 hours the vanilla sets in and although its listed in the notes, i dont really smell the leather. Such a sexy fragrance. I completely agree with the reviewer below me. I am so glad that I did. While I love this scent it doesn't make sense buying it when I can get longer performance elsewhere. Didnt like it at first, opening is really heavy and in your face. Gorgeous composition. Any frag collector MUST have this in their collection. Instead of pear this has a bit of mandarin, and sage instead of lavender. One of the best, and Ill always have a bottle of this. Using my last bottle sparingly because I'm afraid to run out. Buttery iris reminiscent of a makeup bag and a leather drydown. Finally i got my bottle, as of june 2020. I just love it! I admit: I only bought this because it was a cheaper alternative to DHI in my country. This is has less of that classically masculine, piercing, 'cologne' vibe than Dior Homme Intense, to my nose. Love at first sniff! After wearing it a couple of times it really grew on me and now its one of my favourite scents. I don't know if I'm the only one, but the more I smell Uomo Intense the more I get Layton from PDM. Very similar to Dior Homme Intense or i would say more designer version of DHI or DHP. Does anyone have the same experience? On my skin, the clary sage and iris form an indescribably attractive accord that is entirely unique. The orange and Tonka in there makes it a little bit more fun, bright, and less stiff. Its good though ,so cant complain. For my May, 2020 bottle, the FIL code # is B234952/1. I agree with everything in the review by jae (Jan/8/2021) about the similarities and differences! I enjoy sweet fragrances, but it felt as if the vanilla took over the whole scent for some reason. So finally I bought this yesterday. I detect some tonka but vanilla and somehow cinnamon are crazy rn. Love this fragrance. Performance is meaningless unless you like the fragrance and I'm not a fan of this sweet mess. Great for colder weather and night time wear. I have no idea whether it is discontinued or not. It's more sweet, but less lipsticky than DHI, and therefore is a bit more mass appealing and draws more attention! Very nice. I tried a few times but this is the frag that taught me that I do not like Iris. I wear this to formal cocktail events and such. I love the iris opening- its the perfect amount of earthy waxiness for me without becoming too powdery or dirty. I get the lipstick scent vibe but its so gorgeous. My wife said she may as well keep the VUI as well. This is a non-foody gourmand iris through and through and a longevity all-star. It has vanilla which makes it sweeter. This is a lovely iris fragrance, but it does it's on thing. These are a little bit more accessible with the sweeter notes, this has a note that's reminiscent of a mocha or some other type of sweet coffee. Valentino uomo intense is more easy to wear though and can give a similar feel at half the price. I'm gonna be honest and admit I don't like it for me. Im not usually the biggest leather fan, but the way this leather blends seamlessly with the vanilla, and iris makes it smooth as silk. Here are my thoughts after directly comparing them over a few days. As soon as I sprayed it on the back of my hand and smelled, I went over to my cologne cabinet and whipped out the ol 75ml Dior Homme Parfum to spray on my other hand. There is exactly the same juice like this, and it is from the house of armaf. WOW! With further exploration you start to get the differences. When I heard this was being discontinued I decided to go ahead and buy a bottle. I liked and purchased intense over the original because I didn't like the myrtle in the blend. their known for destroying fragrances with reformulations. Same way can be tested if you spray on your arm. More masculine and potent than DHI. This is sexy. The new edition of the fragrance Valentino Uomo from 2014, Valentino Uomo Intense, comes out in the spring of 2016, announced as the more intense, charismatic and masculine version. Valentino Uomo Intense is really a lovely fragrance. I love them both, but VUI just beats out DHI as one of my top 5 frags. On my skin it comes like a very strong iris with leather blast and some sweet notes.Personally this one causes me a headache.Very heavy.I cant stand it despite my efforts.. So, someone I know traveled to the Netherlands and purchased 100ml of this juice for yours truly. I told myself for ages that I didn't need this since I already had DHI, which is one of my all-time favorite takes on iris. Not complaining tho. I find it to be pretty inoffensive and pleasing. It starts off mildly spicy and floral and turns into a soft and toned down scent. This is a nighttime only, date night, want to smell edible to someone. The 2022 Dior Homme Original, Is still the king of all the Iris dominant fragrances available on the market this days. get your grey denims out with your best white tee and your black leather jacket. To my nose extremely similar, if not outright a blatant copy of Dior Homme. I can see this as a nice date night fragrance, a nice dinner, a broadway show, drinks at a nice lounge, movies, etc. It was the last box left and was the same price as the newer one. I just think there's something a little bit extra that brings that fragrance up to a 10/10, this is a very strong 9/10! Definitely not for casual wear or school/office. Whether its the opening, or part of the scent. I had a sample laying around and decided to spray it on my hand, this thing is beast mode, I sprayed ONE little spray on the back of my palm and I can smell it as I'm sitting here typing this review. I get the iris and its well done. And i was testing La vie est belle EDP, it smelled very familiar, then it struck me that VUI smells very similar. Very gentlemanly and elegant. Has anyone tried the new style bottle (2021 release)?? Beautiful fragrance that is borderline feminine to me. My favourite Iris based fragrance so far that has good longevity. VUI though is the one I consistently like and it is in my most liked fragrances. Valentino Uomo Intense is sold out everywhere for a reason. Absolutely perfect concoction that is different enough from GG EDP to warrant a purchase. This fragrance is just WOW. I am I love with this scent. I will never EVER get tired of this fragrance. It is a compliment getter. I've tried or owned all of the best designer iris fragrances (Dior, Prada, Valentino, Givenchy etc) i have to say that this is to me just in the middle. DEFINATELY buy a decant or sample before purchasing a bottle. This and the EDT have nothing to do with the trio Dior Homme, Dior Homme Intense, Dior Homme Parfum.
