I found these heavy duty floating shelf/countertop brackets that attach to the sides of the studs before drywall goes on (or back on, in case of renovation) and hold hundreds of pounds per bracket. So they should be completely invisible but strong as anything. I came back here to see a picture of the enderside of the cabinet to make sure it had surface area to rest on and looks like it would be fine.
