The new hose with the yellow cap on it on the shifter is about the same length as the one on the old shifter. The line is often too long, though, so you should insert the line from the caliper to see how it looks, but do not tighten it up. Mineral and DOT versions cant be mixed using, choosing a selection results in a full page refresh.
