It's not groundbreaking but pleasant, probably more of a summer scent than a winter scent imo. Then I mostly got sweet orange. CK One especially for men, is not a winner. You could probably do better. This is really nice. This scent smells very similar to the citrus shampoo that I buy at my local health food store. ), and it also did not feature melon, a note that smells awful on me, so I tried a sample out. The orange and ginger opening is absolutely beautiful. It's a scruber! I love this stuff. Gucci Flora Gorgeous Jasmine Eau de Parfum, Burberry Hero Eau de Parfum: ADAM DRIVER Returns For The New Burberry Hero Campaign, Marc Jacobs Daisy Ever So Fresh Eau de Parfum, Opinion: We Dont Need to Worry So Much about Fragrance Reviewer Credibility, Sacred Groove: The New Fragrance by The House of Oud, WPC: Interview With Alexandre Illan, Perfumer of the Rammstein Line and More, Creeds Love In White: Grain-Fed Magnolia, Vetiver Gris: New Fragrance by Jacques Fath. the bottle is actually better than the scent itself. This really hits the spot on a humid day after a long shower in the morning. You spray it and youll smell good. This is totally unisex which they always do well, it's clean slightly citrus and sweet with a slight masculine tone which I do like. On paper, this smells somewhat masculine, but on me it smelled completely masculine. I got a bottle for like $30 and Ive gotten a ton of use out of it. However, still a really good everyday scent. It's nice, but I don't think they'll be selling 20 bottles every 20 hours, let alone every 20 seconds. Ambrox: creamy, musky, salty. But this could make a good fragrance for fresh out of the shower and unsure what else to wear. Smells like something my high school boyfriend would have worn. It has a lovely sparkling opening, with the watery notes and orange oil. Its a nice, refreshing, flattering scent. Im sure its generic and maybe even a little boring, but lets be real, challenging doesnt sell and sometimes all you want is something that smells pleasant and easy from start to finish. He insisted that it was sweet (after not letting it dry down) and said it was more my style. Inoffensive fresh fragrance, perfect for spring and summer. Not aggresive at all and very, very "clean and round". Pink Pepper: bright, sparkling, spicy Fits for summer casual days. I was gifted a 50ml bottle and I think I'd be disappointed if I actually bought it with my own money. Just a clean smelling, uplifting fragrance safe for work. Kids are delightfully honest. 3/5 f. @ FrankInScent - I beg to differ, CK2 and Obsessed for Men Intense are two of the best CK releases ever, Shock for men is good but not to the level of those two imo. I wonder if this is the tea blending with the opening notes to create this effect, or maybe my nose is on the blink! It's not a challenging fragrance, but more discreet and pleasant. He was right. It wasn't even my birthday or anything, the guy that gave it to me simply didn't care for it. But again, none of the notes really POP, it all feels a bit watered down. I wear CK EveryOne in peak traffic, which distracts me from the scent and engages a lot. Experienced a pleasant light citrus fresh smell for what felt like about 20 minutes before it disappeared to a barely detectable skin scent. CK All followed up in 2017. It needs you . Nice for the summer, but sadly no world beater. It's fresh and clean. A nice feeling to replicate! Obnoxious citrusy common smell. I like it. It lasts 8 hours on me! Like other generic niceties that we frequently and crudely poo-poo around here, its a compliment getter. Versatile, you can wear it everywhere. A delightful, easy to grab, unisex fragrance at a really affordable price. if the name was adidas, it would cost about 10$ and if you paid more than that, you overpaid. This reminds me a lot of the original but i like the fact that it's vegan so I bought it. This was a toss up at first. Id venture to guess that the majority of people that arent super serious or invested in fragrance like many of us are, they just want something that smells good. Feel in love with everyone at first spray. Great great great summer fragrance except for: Late July 2020, I hastily posted a glowing review saying this was wonderful. I think I like the top notes more than the drydown on this one (very musky). It is one of my dumb-reaches, especially on scorching days of over 35C due to its out-of-the shower scent profile and airy quality. This is not a finished product. Opens with a fizzy note (ginger?) Received a sample in the post today with a CK promo postcard etc. Meh. I also pick up on the cedar note quite a bit. Its on my maybe list for the summer . Has anyone tried EDP version of this? Definitely a head turner. I like it. The opening gives you a metallic citrus freshness with the feeling of fresh out of the shower. After this strange phase, it smells grassy and soapy. We designed everything about it to feel open ended, like itll grow with you no matter where you are in your personal evolution. iI am definitely buying it this week on my birthday lol, Smelled ok but nothing compares to ck one and the early summer flankers. Everyone is really pretty and incredibly fresh. This just smells so sexy to me. Who doesnt want to smell like fresh clean bar of soap. I thought it would just be okay, but it ended up being my favorite Calvin Klein fragrance yet. Blink and youll see a black & white image of Tyson Beckford or Kate Moss walking by in nothing but a pair of dropwaist jeans. The ginger base is the best part. Doesn't compare well with CK One's depth. First you smell the pink pepperthe bright, sparkling, spicy top note that makes a good first impression. On me, this definitely pulls masculine. Mmmm, You Smell Delicious: Wright N100! Judging by this official sample made in France distribute by coty ck everybody delivers a smell you can actually smell, and when you smell the spot you sprayed hours later, its very present and pleasant, a fresh, soapy flowery but masculine I thik it's a solid release but I'd go for something with more pertigrain!! This is what I call an epitome of simplicity and minimalism-- simple, clean, refreshing, aquatic, without being unnecessarily intricate. Pretty natural smelling. Its balanced with iris, a white floral, for a creamy freshness. Calvin first released in 1996 CK Be, a darker unisex fragrance. Remember everyone, its freaking Calvin Klein and a CK One flanker. I like it for nostalgias sake, but its not anything Im pressed to own. Iris: floral, green, powdery I asked my 9 year old daughter if it reminded her more of mom or dad, and she said "It smells like dad! However, the notes in CK Everyone looked promising (Tea! Every few years it seems that Calvin Klein tries to expand the line that started with CK One. Tried this today and I have to say, Im pleasantly surprised! "; so there. I know I am going to get a lot of hate from the Calvin Klein Fanboys/girls but this is unimaginative. Ck one is still legendary and better than this one. Of course anyone can wear any scent they'd like, but this was too masculine for my tastes. That's concerning even for Calvin Klein freshie standards. Tried it today, I can definitely say it is a little more aqueous and airy than CK, It's a pleasant orange/ginger smell with some cedarwood underneath it. Admittedly I was a little heavy handed, but i was asked what my scent was 4 times between filling up the petrol tank and finishing my groceries this morning. It is one of the few fresh fragrances where the dry down doesn't turn sour on my skin. Imagine taking a shower using an orange-scented dish soap, that's pretty much how it smells to me. Had a shower and applied liberally while my skin was freshly patted dry. So easy to use . I always have the same thing to say when it comes to CK. Receive email updates on stuff youll probably want to know about, including products, launches, and events. Stumbled upon this when I was sniffing perfumes the other day lol and oh my oh my I love this so much! Please read the Terms of Service and Privacy policy. I'd say this is a tad more masculine than feminine, especially at first. The citrus I pick up isn't orange but more of a lime scent. It arrives packed in a recyclable, molded paper carton and secured with a reusable rubber band for safe transit. Overall, one more generic clean fragrance from Calvin Klein. Smell hints of tea, ginger, plenty of musk and cedar. Those who know both of the aforementioned scents might be wondering exactly what the hell I'm talking about, so let me break it down. CK Everyone has an intensely bright opening, probably due to the orange and ginger combo, for some reason I get an impression of lemongrass but it's more pleasant here than I've found in other scents in the past. The key words I would like to use to describe it are fresh and clean, SUCH a shame this has basically no power. CK Everyone doesn't have any standout qualities, it's pretty tame in character. I can see how this would be good for hospital workers, teachers, after the gym someplace where you cant wear something overbearing and probably quite simple. CK Everyone leans slightly masculine. Longevity isnt the best but I only paid $25 so I dont mind being heavy handed. Not for me. Smells amazing, deliciously fruity and fresh. CK one wasnt groundbreaking and is by no means a performance beast, yet its an iconic fragrance and was a KING in its day. Hard to judge longevity but even on paper where fragrances usually last longer this one was a very soft scent after 45 minutes or so. Ive come back to say that after forgetting about it for 5 or 6 months, I absolutely stand by the reviewI rarely do. This is a very generic smelling clean citrus. I had a sample of this and wore it and it instantly reminded me of Irish spring the soap. It's a modernized version of CK One, and it does smell very familiar. An eau de parfum that melts into skin and smells a bit different on everyone. Love to wear it at home just for the smell but lasts barely an hour unfortunately even with a million sprays :(, Firstly smell little citrus but when it dry down you gone feel clean and minimalism. It's a no brainer when I dont know what to wear in summer or spring. Remember me of some man deodorant, the fresher one. Longevity and sillage are pretty good on my skin, but even though I love orange fragrances I don't like this smell at all. Clean and fresh and genderless, and I'll echo that "coming out of the shower" is a very solid way to describe that first inhale. I tried this again today, fairly hot weather 32 Celsius. Definitely clean and not offensive at all. This is very pleasant to the nose but its forgettable. Its pleasant, inoffensive, and the orange and ginger is really nice. Yet another blind purchase from the Calvin Klein house, shortly after my favorite CK2. It's already out in Finland. A nice clean soapy fresh fragrance. After-shower scent, in the most typical sense. This is a very pleasant, soft, any occasion fresh and clean fragrance. Most freshies are either going to love this or feel like it smells too much like a bunch of other things already on the market. Not a performance beast, but it is fresh, clean, and versatile in the nicest, least annoying way possible. I get lots of mandarin, a hint of tea that makes this comforting and musk that brings that whiteness to it. that really reminds me of Zara Vibrant Leather. Smells like a delicious clean man straight from the shower! Like I said, I smell the tea and ginger, but it's like someone's applied a filter on this fragrance - it's so rarefied, so purified, that those notes are just really stripped back versions of themselves. My husband and I got a Macy's box of samples today. The down side it's longevity. Leans more masculine in my opinion. Very office friendly, suitable for warmer days as well. I'm not a fan of soapy fragrances so it's an instant dislike for me but I think younger folk might enjoy how crispy and clean it smells. Ambrette Seeds: woody, warm, sweet I think CK Everyone was a perfect way to take the idea of CK One and modernize it. Its a bit green, a bit citrusy, very light and pleasant. In the opening there's a really nice orange note which really does remind me of the sweet orange essential oil which I diffuse at home. Overall leans more stereotypically masculine to me. I love CK One because of how incredibly fresh it is, so uplifting and invigorating for warm weather, while also a bit sweet to make it friendly. Maybe it is just a throwback to carefree time. I like crisp clean smells especially after a shower. If this were a body wash I would happily buy it but as a fragrance, it's just lack lustre. It is quite generic but not in a bad way. I love this! Surprisingly summery! CK Everyone, while not a total winner, it is a clean showery scent, worth getting your nose on. The orange note sticks around for longer and it's a juicy fresh orange, not zesty but sweet. Orange! It literally is for everyone. It leans masculine, and its a very nice, clean, fresh, inoffensive and safe scent. CK One Shock was the last great fragrance they offered and looks like they will ever offer. For those that are complaining about this being boring and that it doesnt perform good enough, what did you expect? pleasant, but non-performing and thus forgettable. This is zingy and fresh and leans to the masculine side. Every time I spray it on me, it puts a smile on my face. But dont complicate to formal event. I live it, it very hot here in southern Africa and it works well with the weather. I'm not sure why so many people consider this scent to lean more masculine- I think it's perfectly unisex. For some reason, this scent makes me think of the days when Grey Flannel & Polo (green bottle) were popular. This is fresh, clean, unisex. Unsubscribe anytime. Performance was pretty poor, nice while it lasted, but so is a British Summer, and many of us know how long they last. It smelled just like I stole my boyfriend's cologne. I can smell orange, tea with a musk in the base. We recommend letting the fragrance settle for a few moments, rather than rubbing it in, for the best scent experience. This was a sample I received, and was excited to try, because I loved CK One in my younger days. Theres spice from the ginger, a greenness from the tea, and some woodsy notes in the dry down. Not a bad thing, but it does make CK Everyone smell like a beautiful water, or fresh air. with obsessed intense/ eternity edp I DO EXPECT more from ck. I really like this when I just want a soft, clean smell. Then you get into the woodsy, slightly sweet heart of the scent that comes from ambrette seeds and warm, ambery ambrox. I've not had a lot of luck with CK perfumes. I think Ive found my signature scent!! I go absolutely ga-ga for guys who smell like this. How to describe Glossier You? Its not one of those perfumes you wear to become someone else. An objet dart in its own right, the bottle design was created in-house with a real thumbprint indentmuch like the fragrance, it needs you to complete it. Its a little too masculine to my nose but if you mix it with a feminine spray it balances out well. Sillage is amazing tho. However, after 15 minutes we both smelled our arms and concluded unanimously that it's more masculine. Was searching for CK One at a department store and the woman at the counter told me this was the same, and I didn't totally believe her, but I was glad I put it on once I took my mask off. Redolessence on Youtube compared it to the strength of hand lotion and I don't think he was even trying to be derogatory. I bought the 100m 2nd hand. I would recommend it as a starting point to anyone who might not like fragrances but still wants to wear one (weird anachronism but I started out like that). This is one of the only citrus scents that doesn't make me gag but it's so boring! CK One being a unisex scent that works for men or women and its many flankers including the summer series that are unisex to various degrees. To the people/snobs who say oh its just so uninspired lmao honestly if you expected anything other than a safe, fresh/clean scent in the same vain as CK One than the jokes on you I guess. Nothing to die for but pleasant. Sometimes, we just need this type of scent that is perfect for daily use to calm our mind and lift up our mood. Would love some feedback on it as there's no separate page for it on Fragrantica :(. I like it, but to me, it leans heavy toward being a masculine smell. it is a very fruity and refreshing fragrance, i swear if i was to smell it blind i would definitely say its Acqua Di Parma frag because it has that type of a signature Dna, however not a clone of any ADP so its unique on its own way. Spray as desired on pulse pointsyour neck, behind your ears, your wrists, and more. This is really nice, and I like it a lot! That's more a problem with my skin chemistry than the fragrance itself, but my advice is to try this on yourself before you buy it. given the low performance and the type of smell, there's more value in simply buying bunch of deodorants for that money. Mostly, it smells like you: soft, warm, familiar. Its a clean, fresh & crisp scent. I like wearing this to the gym or if I am going to be outside during the summer. CK gets a lot of negative comments about synthetic this synthetic that but to me this is close to the EO aroma. Mission accomplished, job well done. It has a nice zing to it from the ginger, with a smooth citrus backed by a confident freshness. there's nothing to dislike about it, it simply isn't worth the money. I would eat my man alive smelling like this, _regenerating freshness however i can find better around. My husband loves One Platinum but since CK discontinued that one, he was looking out for a new everyday kinda scent. For me when I have no idea what to wear it one of five first choices to catch it to wear. It's pleasant, but yet another citrus with aquatic notes. Nothung ground breaking but it has a place into world of purfumery!!! Theres also a slight animalic quality Im guessing is from the musk, the amber, or both. That being said, I like the scent, but for a man. And euphoria amber-these 2 are killer in longevity and sillage on me. CK Everyone is the perfect fit for that. Calvin Klein Happy One would have been a more apt name, as it is a very carefree, easy going scent. Its very fresh and light and I find it leans more feminine that unisex but really-any fragrance can be worn any way anytime by anyone-Im just saying this is what I think lol its not as potent as the CKOne or CK2 etc but this has a really lovey scent to it. I get the cedar note a lot, then the watery note. It smells very expensive friends! Has the vibe of a One Summer fragrance. It is NOT going to be some groundbreaking, complex, layered fragrance. Then in 2020 came CK Everyone. The only one that worked on me was CK One Shock for Her, which had terrible longevity. The orange oil smell is just too dominant and overpowers everything else. Smells just like Ferragamo F Free Time, exactly! Unfortunately, this evaporated so, so fast on my skin, which is sadly the breaks with all natural fragrances. I only tried it on a paper strip so I can't say anything about longevity, but the smell was your basic dime in a dozen fresh citrus something something. | | Nederlands | Srpski | Romn | | | | |, Copyrights 2006-2022 Fragrantica.com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission. Fragrantica Inc, United States. There is really nothing less to be expected from such a name like Alberto Morillas. It's vibrant, absolute summer energy. I used to love CK One for similar qualities, which just dont exist in the current formulation of that one. This is my go-to for a fresh out of the shower scent. Quite boring. Less citrusy than CK one and over all I prefer CK one. 20 years later, after many CK One flankers came CK2. There's some sweetness in the base too, most likely from amber and patchouli. Nothing new here. Historical Coty Fragrances: The Anniversary Edition 2004, Fragrance Review: Tom Ford Vanille Fatale (2017), Calvin Klein CK Everyone Eau de Toil (. It's clean, a little soapy with a very bright and airy citrus feel while remaining grounded with the base of musk and patchouli. Reminds me something like an aftershave smell. Ginger! In my CK One review, I said that while it was a perfectly acceptable unisex scent at a reasonable price point, if you want truly amazing versatility, go for CK EveryOne. At first I thought this was a gender neutral fragrance but after wearing it for a couple of times I find it to be more masculine. Not necessarily the scent itself, but the vibe it puts outit's like you never smelled this particular juice before, but you definetly smelled it before, lol. Orange oil is not sweet, nor overly bitter. Its Calvin Kleins typical citrus aquatic fragrance. It is very nicely balanced and addictive. This is amazing!! More woody than CK one, this is not an agrume fragrance, but it appears a little bit in the drydown with a light ginger. It smells like natural orange essential oil with aquatic notes. 5-minutes in then the citrus transitioned a bit to a more aquatic musky scent but I don't smell the tea, to be honest, refreshing indeed but it is not a head-turner hence the price could have been lower. I can't smell the ginger, just sugary orange that makes my stomach hurt. I can't imagine a scenario where someone would actually choose to wear this. Starts fresh and masculine leaning, then (call me crazy) it starts to smell like instant noodles o.0 i even looked around to see if someone near me was cooking, but no, it was really the perfume! Amazing freshie! An almost herbal orange and ginger fragrance. Its in the same vein as old school Tommy, Nautica, or the original CK One. Opens up with a lot of orange oil and watery notes. I've still never smelled CK One, so I can't compare, but I did instantly get the impression that the blueprint this follows is exactly why The Gap smelled like it did in the mid-90s.
