But I think we are just keeping it where it is. We're going back and forth as to which tile guy we will use for our project. I thought the door could inswing at this size? indio tilebar much better w/navy / white. Most Italian manufacturers recommend a maximum offset of 8 (20 cm) on all large format tiles when setting a running bond. Our bench is going to be 64" so we'd have one grout line on it. Its the same color as floor tile and shower floor. May use the gray pennies that match the solid surface in the niche. you could even do the smaller size behind the vanity or on the wall. I'm also kind of worried about penny tile in general on the shower floor and having that much grout. (make sure they do a dry lay-out so they know exactly where the niche is to be placed within the tiles. I like the idea of a feature wall of tile - not sure I would introduce another one unless it was over the top in design. I definitely think white quartz or something white would work better for the curb and bench. I'm thinking if we do use the 2x2 blue/white tile for shower floor, we'd lay it on a 45. That's the biggest mistake folks make is having the sinks too close together. This might look really good w/soft gray vanity and your dark top.
Call me crazy, but I like that gray counter and blue vanity you posted. I like that niche, however, I would use something other than the 3x6. Finalized our layout and will meet with bathroom designer tomorrow. Makes sense. And now we will have two lol. would look similar to this. Do you think it is ok for shower floor since the curb will be there to break it up? This one w/the white/white and gold looks so good w/the dark blue. They are better in person though, right? or this one. Hubby is not quite as excited as I am about the blue cabinets. My other dumbo feline agrees that the white and blue look fab together. And the gray pennies are pretty close to the counter color and not beige in person. tilebar and can never capture the exact colors. Or, could you do a white porcelain chevron on the shower floor? I'm not a fan of the mosaics really. But I've already warned my husband we may have to order white. maybe you could order a few sheets to see what you think. In our water closet we planned on having tile on three or the four walls (or do we just do all four walls?). That's a pretty combo, the silver and the darker gray. It is just so interesting. And just paint the WC walls -- tile is unnecessary and will be overwhelming in a small space like that. Ya know, instead of using that dark gray countertop for the bench and the curb, have him get a plain white piece of quartz. The niche has the triangular tiles. It looks clean. The denim blue is just about the same color as the blue in tile, even though it doesn't look like it in the pic. Still trying to decide if we will use those or the blue ones or something else for the niche. tilebar matte We paired it w/a larger format deep charcoal floor tile, and used charcoal piece of quartz for the curb. You could do a full wall of it w/your other tile. Haven't had a chance to discuss with Hubby yet.
